The Attorney should be licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and a member of the Bar of the State of NJ in good standing, specializing in public sector labor relations. The applicant shall have at least three (3) years of experience as a labor attorney representing public entities in the management side in legal and labor relations issues including, but not limited to, negotiation of collective bargaining agreements and individual contracts, interest arbitration, grievance arbitration, preparation and filing of disciplinary charges, trial of contested disciplinary matters, Employer-Employee Relations Act, ADA and FMLA, PERC Policies and Procedures, and rendering of advice to department heads and personnel/human resource officials concerning employment related matters. Labor attorney should be available for consultation on a daily basis.
