The Pleasantville Board of Education requires the following minimum services. Any charges for these services MUST be noted on the attached proposal form. Any variation from the minimum requirements MUST be noted: 1. Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing such services to public school districts within the State of New Jersey is preferred. 2. Minimum of three (3) references from public school districts of comparable size or larger in the State of New Jersey. 3. Applied Behavioral Analysis and Consultant Services as needed following the 2024- 2025 School calendar. The district anticipates a need for one (1) BCBA Behavioral Consultant for 15-20 hours per week and maximum of eight (8) highly trained specialized assistants for up to 7 hours per day. Staff are not compensated when the District is closed. 4. All provider staff need to be trained in research-based technologies and methodologies that are required to address the needs of students with various disabilities/diagnoses such as autism, ODD, PPD, ADHD, global developmental delays, etc. Research based methodologies may include ABA but are not limited. 5. Provider must exhibit a consistency in staff to provide continuity of programming. 6. Teachers, paraprofessionals and assistants/consultants must work together to provide comprehensive programming. 7. Behavioral consultants must be available to write Behavioral Intervention Plans, participate in meetings and consult with staff regarding implementation for students with disabilities. Implementation may include modeling recommended techniques in the classroom. 8. Provider must supply their staff with ongoing training opportunities. 9. Provider must supply district staff with ongoing professional development. 10. Provider must supply parents/guardians with support through workshops and at home recommendations.
