Such services may include but are not necessarily limited to: 1. Providing professional planning services for the City of Passaic for the calendar year 2024 on an as‐needed basis. More specifically to assist in reviewing the Master Plan, Zoning Ordinance, Housing Plans, Site Plan, and Subdivision applications proposals for Zoning Amendments and other related planning and zoning matters as specified by the City. 2. Assisting the City of Passaic in current planning activities and advising and advising officials in the development and implementation of such policies and procedures as are necessary and proper for the development of land within the City of Passaic in a manner that is consistent with and furthers the goals of the City’s Master Plan; 3. Assisting the City of Passaic in comprehensive planning activities, including conducting background research and data collection, formulating long‐range land use plans and development policies, preparation of special planning studies, and preparation of reports and plans. 4. Assisting the City of Passaic in neighborhood planning and preservation activities, including conducting background research and data collection, preparation of preservation plans and strategies, coordinating with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs, and serving as liaison to neighborhood groups and citizens. 5. Preparation of maps, drawings, and other graphics including making property site and field visits, preparation of property site plans, zoning plans, and sketches in GIS and other planning‐ related software. 6. The City Planner shall be a licensed professional planner by the State of New Jersey in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A.45:14A‐1, et.seq. and any administrative regulations promulgated thereunder.
