The work consists of full Consulting Engineering Services, including labor, materials and every other item of expense necessary to design and prepare the final construction plans and specifications for the Sanitary and Storm Sewer Improvement project. The Consultant shall visit the project site and become familiar with the project before submitting the proposal. Sanitary Sewer System Improvements: Aspen Place (Housing Authority) (Appendix A) o Disconnect the 12” Pipe from the Sanitary Sewer Manhole located at the State Street Intersection with Aspen Place. o Replace the Manhole open grate (called IL-815) and the asphalt around the perimeter of the manhole. o Reconnect the 12” RCP storm sewer line to the line between IL-814 and MH-355 Benson Avenue (Between Pennington Avenue & High Street) (Appendix B) o Replace the buried manhole located in the grass at the intersection of Benson Ave. and Howard Ave. / Pennington Ave. o Replace 350 LF of 15” sanitary sewer pipe between new manhole and MH-1861. Pennington Avenue & Exchange Place (Appendix C) o Replace 10 LF of 8” sanitary sewer pipe from MH-1170 at the Exchange Place intersection, upstream toward MH-1175 at Prospect St. intersection. Storm Sewer System Improvements Spring Street & Brook Avenue (Appendix D) o Reconstruct the inlet connection to the 42” RCP collector (13’ depth). o Repair sinkhole on the Spring street. Monroe Street (Between Leonard Place & Main Avenue) (Appendix E) o Replace 40 LF of 36” RCP storm sewer pipe (collapsed pipe) DeGroot Place & Cronje Place (Appendix F) o Replace 15 LF of collapsed pipe between IL-666 and MH-247. o Replace Inlet IL-666 Pretoria Place Dead End (Appendix G) o Replace Inlets IL-644 & IL-665 Bergen Street (Pulaski Park) (Appendix H) o Reconstruct 20 LF of existing 12” clay storm sewer system pipe. o Resolve utility conflict of 6” water main crossing the storm sewer pipe.
