SECTION 2 – TRUCK SCALES Provide Labor to repair and/or replace existing parts as well as periodic maintenance consisting of quarterly inspections and annual preventative maintenance for the following: Northern Facility Scales: Lakewood, NJ • three (3) Emery Winslow Model 94-10070-11 Genesis II Truck Scale Systems • two (2) Rice Lake 480 Legend Digital Weight Indicators • two (2) Rice Lake 1280 Digital Weight Indicators • three (3) Rice Lake Weighing System 4" remote displays – Laserlight Series • two (2) Wireless Modem systems • one (1) Pan Tilt Zoom camera located at the remote scale along with two (2) monitors in scale house. Southern Facility Scales: Manahawkin, NJ • one (1) Emery Winslow Model 94-10070-11 Genesis II Truck Scale System • one (1) Rice Lake 480 Legend Weight Indicator • one (1) Rice Lake Weighing System 4" remote display – Laser Light Series The load cells are made by Emery Winslow, 75,000 lb. in capacity and all stainless steel. Bidder should provide with the bid, a current Certificate of Training from Emery Winslow verifying bidder has been trained by the scale manufacturer in the proper maintenance, service and repair of this scale and relative electronic equipment, or have proven itself competent through previous bid, or through references from customers with similar equipment. Upon request from the County, the bidder shall certify that he maintains a minimum of four (4) Emery Winslow 75,000 lb. capacity Stainless Steel Load Cells as well as have the ability to obtain manufacturer’s recommended parts. Service Vendor must respond within a maximum of two (2) hours from time of call for emergency repairs service during normal working hours Monday thru Friday (excluding holidays) and within four (4) hours during non-regular working hours and weekends. Vendor must provide a written description of their Emergency Contact Procedure for after hour’s notification of service need. Service Vendor shall provide with the bid, copies of a) Business license; b) Certification & Licenses from New Jersey Weights & Measures for both company and all service technicians that will perform service to scales; Certificate of Traceability for all test weights that will be utilized in the testing and certification work provided to scales. Vendor will also provide the following: Certificate of Insurance, Workman’s Compensation Policy, Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, Safety Manual and Procedures upon request. Scale Service Vendor shall provide with the bid a list of at least five (5) current customers they maintain and have a service relationship with customers that have similar truck scales at multiple locations. Customer name, address, key contact person, name and phone number, scale locations, length of service relationship is to be included.
