The purpose of this pilot program is to assist between 15 and 20 low- and moderate-income affordable housing applicants in their effort to build financial stability so that they qualify to rent an affordable unit. The credit coaching servicesshould include, but not limited to, one-on-one sessionsin the areas of goalsetting, budgeting, tracking spending, reducing debt, applying short- and long-term saving strategies, and using other financial tools. Staff must be Certified Personal Financial Coaches, HUD-Certified Housing Counselors and/or Certified in Financial Social Work and must have Spanish-speaking staff. In addition to monthly meetings with individual families, eight in-person workshops will be held in Princeton – four unique sessions presented in separate English and Spanish sessions. Local stakeholders will identify locations for the workshops. The topic and content description for each of these four unique sessions can be found in Appendix A
