The work of this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: In general, the work will include furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the Potable Water Supply Well #3 Redevelopment. The well has had the motor removed to a motor repair shop and the existing column pipe, lineshafting and vertical turbine pump have also been removed for disposal. The redevelopment work for the aforementioned well will include but not limited to, high pressure jetting, swabbing, column, lineshaft & pump replacement with water lubricated vertical turbine pumps rated for 400 GPM @ 572’ TDH and installed 400 feet deep. Work includes well pump 75 horsepower motor repairs that include cleaning and reinsulating of windings, installation of new bearings, reassembly and testing. The discharge head is to be refurbished. New motor shaft and top shaft to be provided. Well to be performance tested and the contractor shall be required to complete all other associated work to complete the intent of this project as specified herein.
