Specifications include, but are not limited to: To result in a contract between the successful bidder and the County of Essex that will meet the following objectives: A. To provide high quality commissary services to the inmates of the Essex County Correctional Facility. B. To operate commissary services using correction experienced and professional trained personnel. C. To maintain an open collaborative relationship with the administration and staff of the Essex County Correctional Facility. D. To maintain standards established by the Essex County Correctional Facility, American Correction Association (ACA) and the State of New Jersey. E. To operate the commissary program in a humane manner with respect to the inmates’ rights. Vendor will deliver once daily to the facility five (5) days a week, Monday through Friday, except Essex County recognized holidays. Orders placed by 10 AM on Monday will be delivered on the following Wednesday, orders placed by 10 AM on Tuesday will be delivered on the following Thursday, etc.
