The NBOE seeks to pre-qualify vendors to implement content-specific student enrichment services, and related teacher professional development. Enrichment/ expanded learning providers shall provide specialized content including arts, financial literacy, robotics, science technology, engineering and math (STEM), career and technical education, nutrition, gaming, Social Emotional Learning, Culturally Relevant Pedagogy, and fitness to existing District programs. Expanded learning and enrichment programs operating within the Newark Board of Education operate under the direction of the Principal/Director. Programs within this category may be viewed as supplemental and or recreational to a school’s overall school/program strategy. All proposers shall demonstrate their expertise and capacity to deliver engaging content to groups of students attending the Newark Board of Education during the school year and/or summer.
