Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Please submit a Proposal to provide the following for snow removal services for the 2023-2024 season for the sites listed below. Breakdown pricing as outlined in Items a, b and c: a. Plow all parking lots of snow, clear sidewalks and walkways if applicable in parking areas at the Administration building, Josephson Apartments, Abbott Apartments, French Towers, Lincoln Homes, Donnelly Homes, Wilson Homes, Haverstick Homes, Prospect Village, Frazier Courts and apply road mix and calcium to applicable surfaces (see details below). b. Apply road mix to parking lots for icing conditions, if no significant snowfall. c. Apply calcium to sidewalks at all sites only if there is no significant snowfall. 2. Contractor should consider placing curb markers where needed. 3. Trenton Housing Authority will initiate when Contractor is to begin snow removal. Contractor is expected to commence snow removal when snowfall exceeds three (3) inches and two (2) inches thereafter until the main thrust of the storm has passed, unless otherwise directed by Trenton Housing Authority. 4. Weather conditions may quickly result in plowed, shoveled, or de-iced surfaces being covered by new ice or snow, and therefore, the Contractor Bidder or representative must maintain the surface of parking lots, walkways and sidewalks to make sure they are free of snow and ice, and are safe for pedestrians or vehicular traffic. 5. It will be the responsibility of the Bidder Contractor to service when conditions warrant re-plowing, re-salting, etc. 6. Bidder Contractor must remove snow from parking lots to remote areas in case of blizzard conditions, or if snow has accumulated to not allow for proper plowing.
