Specifications include, but are not limited to: chard Hall Community Mental Health Center, a division of the County of Somerset, is seeking a individual to provide Tai Chi instruction to our clients enrolled in the Center's Primary and Behavioral Health Care Integration (PBHCI) Grant. The objective of this service is to provide Tai Chi instruction to meet the expected outcomes of each program. The instructor shall lead and manage approximately 2 group sessions weekly for the PBHCI program. These sessions will consist of a one (1) hour period with from 10-15 persons in attendance. Each session should include the use of the Basic Sun Style as the clients enrolled may not have exercised in years and will require basic instructions for beginners. Sessions should include a warm-up and a cool down period. Primary objectives of the required services include: • Be able to provide a wellness based Tai Chi activity in a group setting. • Target and modify sessions based on the individual client's physical abilities. Proposal must include the following information: • A description of the structure of the activities in each type of class. • A description of experience working with the mental health and addictions populations • A minimum of three references, at least one of which must be related to treating people with mental health and/or addictions issues • Fee schedule Prior to award of contract selected respondent: • Must meet all requirements of Somerset County background check and drug screening • Must provide evidence of liability insurance • Must be cleared through Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) Registry
