The Contractor shall have the exclusive right to install and operate vending machines on premises owned or maintained by the County, at such locations as are determined by the Purchasing Agent to be available for vending purposes and not required for other purposes. Unless specifically provided otherwise, it shall be understood that said vending machines are and remain property of the Contractor. The County shall take reasonable action as may be required to protect vending machines against loss by pilferage or destruction. Under normal installation requirements, the County shall furnish all necessary water lines and plumbing, electrical and service connections for operation of the vending machines. Final connections are to be made by the Contractor. The County shall keep the area around the machine in a clean and orderly fashion, including the removal of trash, garbage and debris. The Contractor, at his/her own expense, shall perform all services required, including installing, removing, maintaining, cleaning and stocking of vending machines at proper operating levels with standard brands of products acceptable to the Purchasing Agent.
