Specifications include, but are not limited to: Essex County proposes to demolish the existing building and construct a new facility with an approximate area of 10,000 to 12,000 square feet. The new layout shall be in compliance withall necessary ADA requirements compliance, full service, energy efficient facility, final layout to be discussed with the County during design; the approximate location is to be along Oakwood Avenue, final location to be determined with the County before design starts. The following is a summary, but not limited to, of the required Architectural/Engineering efforts related to this contract: Prepare a Preliminary Assessment according to N.J.A.C. 7:26E-3.1. Design services for a facility with the following characteristics: o 10 to 12 Thousand square feet building. o Multipurpose room, for 100-120 persons seated, tables and chairs. o Commercial kitchen and equipment. o Bathrooms. o Administration offices with work stations (3) o Recreation office and lockable storage. o Conference room. o I. T. room and closets. o Storage for extensive recreation, park and other equipment. o Classroom for approximate 10 computer stations. o HVAC and mechanical o Landscaping o Sidewalks and pathways o Signage, interior, exterior and site. o Telephone, internet connections o Interior finishing and furniture o Public WiFi connectivity. Design services for site improvements as follows: o New parking area, site access and drop-off areas. o Traffic roadway improvements for building/parking access. o New exterior covered patio. o Water fountains, trash receptacles and ornamental benches. o New landscaping with sprinkler system. o Reconfigure pathways for access to the new building. o Separate restroom facilities for exterior sports and recreation. o Perimeter fencing replacement and repairs as determined by County. o Pathway repairs and reconstruct throughout the park, as determined by the County.. o Tree trimming throughout the park. o Site lighting upgrade, The consultant must be able to provide, but not limited, the following disciplines and services: Architecture Design Environmental Engineering for the Preliminary Assessment Programming and Needs Assesment MEP and F.P. Engineering Full site topography survey of all improvement areas Ground penetration radar, above and below ground utilities and R.O.W. Site Design Engineering Storm water management report and design Landscape architecture design Professional cost estimator Commercial kitchen design and specifications Interior design and furniture specifications Exterior furniture design and specifications Construction Administration Construction cost estimator.
