Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide Respiratory Fit Testing for the PAPD on as an as needs basis. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure the industrial hygienist maintain their certifications in good standing throughout the duration of the Contract. The task shall include but not be limited to the following: • Conduct quantitatively fit test for approximately 2,000 members of the PAPD throughout all facilities at locations designated by the PAPD and the Occupational Health Unit. • Perform the quantitative fit testing using the QuantiFit2 Respirator Fit Testing System 9519- 4200 for the use of the Millenium MSA mask, Scott AV 3000 SCBA and the Avon 72850- 15 FM54 APR Assembly. • Conduct the fit-testing program in accordance with the OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.134, Appendix A: General Requirements and Quantitative Fit Test Protocols. The Contractor will provide a schedule of the fit testing program consisting of forms and summary reports. The Contractor must have the ability to demonstrate practical and hands on training such as: • Direct field experience in Personal Protective equipment (PPE) training that involves helping first responders in the proper use and maintaining PPE for all-hazards. • In the inspection, cleaning & disinfection, repairing, storing of air purifying and SCBA respirators. Efficient donning and doffing of full-face respirators (air purifying and SCBA) in relation to any emergency situation. • Current OSHA respirator protection program 1910.134 and Port Authority Respirator Protection program. Utilization for quantitative respirator testing, equipment troubleshooting, field standards and testing procedures. • Efficient recordkeeping and documentation in employee respirator fit testing results.
