The purpose of this RFP is to prequalify multiple architectural/engineering firms to provide a variety of engineering services to the Water Authority on an as needed basis. The engineering services requested may include survey services, studies, infrastructure master- planning, asset management planning, preliminary and final design, and construction management related services for a variety of projects, such as, but not limited to, plant facility, water line, and sanitary sewer line construction and rehabilitation. The facilities include, but are not limited to, the San Juan-Chama Drinking Water Plant, Southside Water Reclamation Plant, Ground Water Facilities, Reuse Facilities, Arsenic Treatment Facilities, Lift and Vacuum Stations, and Odor Control Facilities. The services may include architectural, landscaping, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation and controls, or other related engineering services as determined by the Water Authority. Possible services consisting of field investigations and surveying, geotechnical investigations and testing, electrical and mechanical engineering studies and analysis, permitting and environmental studies, NACE inspections, and drainage reports may also be required.
It is the Water Authority’s intent to award to multiple engineering firms. The Water Authority does not guarantee any number of projects to be awarded under this RFP.
