RFP-02-4 - Commissary Services for Chaves County Detention Center

Summary of Specifications:
Chaves County is inviting proposals from qualified individuals or organizations to provide commissary services for offenders confined at the Chaves County Adult Detention Center (hereinafter sometimes referred to as the C.C.D.C.). Submissions will be evaluated as qualification based proposals and will be ranked by a committee based on selection criteria. Award will be made to the highest ranking offeror. The goal of Chaves County and the C.C.D.C. is to contract commissary services out to a private firm. For the right to provide such services the contracted firm would pay Chaves County an agreed upon percentage of sales. Offenders will be allowed to purchase products from the commissary a minimum of once per week. All sales will be made via order forms with ordered products being packaged and delivered to the C.C.D.C. the next day.
