RFP-05-6 - Public Art - Pat Garrett Bronze Sculpture

Summary of Specifications:
Chaves County is hereby seeking an artist/sculptor to participate in a competitive process by submitting their credentials for producing a larger-than-life-size statue, created on the likeness of legendary western sheriff Pat Garrett. The County’s goal is to commission a quality, bronze statuary so as to: a)Create a life-like statue of Sheriff Patrick Floyd Garrett, astride a horse at 1.5 life-size; b)Produce an object of permanence for local and national historic interest and c)Compliment a newly refurbished, historic courthouse building and initiate an area for future use as a public park and plaza.
