RFP-05-4 - Records Auditing Services for Indigent Hospital Claims

Summary of Specifications:
Chaves County is requesting proposals for the audit of claims approved through the Indigent Hospital Claims (IHC) Department. Audit services would be done on a quarterly basis to determine if all contracted provider charges are not more than the usual and customary fees for the geographic area. The estimated amount of claims is 500-600, which will vary each quarter, depending on the number of claims submitted by eligible providers. The term of this provision of services will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to renew for up to three additional one year terms. In subsequent years, the County may elect to reduce the number of audits based on the outcome of the previous year’s audit.
