Description

The Project begins at US 380 (Second Street) and ends at Pine Lodge Road. (4.0 Miles) of various road rehabilitation and
reconstruction. A portion of the roadway will include process, place, and compaction (PPC) of existing
roadway prism to accomplish desired width of new road along with swales, ditches, embankment, and
slopes per Chaves Co. Road specifications. Shoulders/embankment reconstruction throughout the entire
corridor. A variation of typical sections will consist of PPC, Double-Pen Chip Seal, a Thin Overlay Mixture
(TOM) surfacing (or Approved Equal), and striping. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids
shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis and may include additive alternate bid items as indicated in
the Bid Form.
