The City of Clovis is seeking proposals from management firms that are qualified in the business of managing and operating public assembly facilities to manage its Civic Center. The management and operation of the Civic Center will include planning, food service, organizing and booking events, marketing and promoting, directing, controlling, security, cleaning and minor facility maintenance and other related services customarily provided pursuant to a management and operation agreement.
The Civic Center opened in 2006. It is a stand-alone facility with approximately 11,323.6 square feet of exhibition space; 3,647 square feet of divisible meeting rooms; a 1,665.9 square foot kitchen and supporting areas. The total enclosed building area is approximately 30,000 square feet with approximately 400 parking spaces located adjacent to the facility.
The initial term of the agreement will be for five (5) years beginning July 1, 2025 and ending July 1, 2030 with allowing the owner the option to extend for one additional five (5) year term.
