Summary of Specifications:
a. The purpose of this proposal is to provide heavy equipment fleet vehicles to the following for: i. City of Clovis ii. Other Municipalities or recognized government entities as approved by the City of Clovis Purchasing Office. See Attachment A. b. Purchase, rent, or Lease financing through a Line of Credit (LOC) for the acquisition of certain selected heavy equipment (the "Equipment") under a Master Lease or Purchase Agreement ("the Agreement"). The Agreement will be between the City and the Contractor. The company’s standard agreement will be used with the exception in section 3, paragraph iv. Under the LOC arrangement, the City enters into the agreement with the contractor and the contractor arranges for financing and procurement. c. Contracts will include maintenance agreements. d. This proposal may be a single or multiple awards based on evaluation committees recommendations. This contract will not guarantee set amounts of vehicles to be purchased and is subject to funding approval by each participating entity. e. The intent of this RFP is to award a contract or contacts to that one or more responsible proposers whose proposal, conforming to this RFP, is most advantageous to the City, price and other factors considered.
