RFP-06-0426-10R - Towing Services-Rebid

Summary of Specifications:
a. The City of Clovis seeks to establish pricing agreements with at least three (3) towing services to provide automobile towing services related to the enforcement of the junk vehicle ordinance. The pricing agreements will be in place for one (1) year to commence July 1, 2006, with the option to renew for up to three (3) additional years (not to exceed four years total). The following are the stipulations that all bidders must agree to in order to be considered: i. The City of Clovis will agree to utilize only towing services with pricing agreements in place for the above stated purposes. These pricing agreements will only pertain to requests initiated by the Police Department or Code Enforcement and not pertain to requests initiated by private vehicle owners. ii. The towing service companies agree to respond to all calls for towing made by the City of Clovis in a reasonable time limit, as defined in below. The towing services shall be available 24-hours per day, 7 days per week.
