Introduction: The Center for Development and Disability (CDD) at the University of New Mexico is seeking a learning management platform that is a one-stop, digital front door to engage with all learners through three primary modalities; in-person training events, live online (virtual) training events and self-paced online training. The CDD was established in 1990 as New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service (UCEDD). These centers are authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act to build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. A core function of CDD is to provide training to the community, including individuals with disabilities and all that support them. The CDD supports all citizens of the State of New Mexico. This user base fluctuates throughout any given year. Scope of Services: CDD seeks a partnership with a qualified company to host a learning management system and to provide corresponding support for the CDD to: 1. Provide a single login and digital location for learners to register for all training opportunities offered at CDD, including in-person training, live (online) training and selfpaced online training; 2. Host self-paced online courses and assess learner comprehension; 3. Track and report on learner progress across multiple training modalities; 4. Provide self-service functions for learners including but not limited to account management, password resets and tracking learning history; 5. Provide a course catalog and calendar of events for prospective learners; 6. Monetize course offerings; 7. Communicate with and market to learners to drive engagement; 8. Automate administrative processes surrounding learning and training management. The selected company must have a demonstrated ability to: 1. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts; 2. Strategize for effective communication in development process; 3. Meet defined timeline for projects; 4. Comply with accessibility requirements defined in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act; 5. Adhere to guidelines and standards with regard to UNM style and branding. Initiative Objectives: 1. Provide a comprehensive, one-stop, digital front door to engage will all learners across the State of New Mexico through three primary modalities; in-person training events, live online (virtual) training events and self-paced online training 2. Educate, and engage individuals with disabilities and all that support them. Statement of Need/Purpose: The CDD currently has a variety of different approaches to engage with learners across the State of New Mexico, using separate, unconnected platforms, offering the following functionalities: registration, virtual meeting, self-paced online courses, video hosting, training calendars, marketing and e-commerce. This creates confusion for learners, requires learners to have multiple different user accounts and to remember multiple different web locations and it creates unnecessary administrative burden for CDD staff. The CDD is seeking to partner with a company to consolidate these functions into a single platform or carefully orchestrated set of platforms to improve learner experience and reduce administrative overhead.
