Providing labor, materials, equipment, and services required to provide a fully automatic, computer-controlled golf course irrigation system. SPRINKLER INSTALLATION A. General 1. All sprinklers shall be installed within 1.0’ of the Consultant’s Þeld staked location. 2. When installing a sprinkler against a hardscape edge, position the sprinkler approximately 8” from edge unless otherwise instructed. 3. When installing sprinkler on a slope, the sprinkler shall be set to so that it is approximately half of the tilt difference between the low side and high side. In extreme slope conditions, set sprinkler tilt to provide the best performance given the situation. 4. Set sprinkler flush with Þnished soil surface so that sprinkler is not considered low or high as determined by the sprinkler manufacturer’s installation literature. If the sprinkler is situated in a rough or uneven surface, provide and install approved top-dressing material to a radius of 3.0’ around the sprinkler to create a smooth and even Þnal surface. Install sod or approved seed around sprinkler as necessary to ensure a Þnished appearance. 5. Install all sprinklers on the speciÞed swing-joint assembly. 6. Install or ensure that the sprinkler nozzle is as speciÞed on the irrigation drawings.
