Adopt a field management software that offers: A. Streamline processes 1. All field in a fillable format that can be routed for digital signature based on workflow settings; 2. Downloadable data from student evaluations and about agency placements to be used to make program improvements; 3. Web-based time-tracking and online timesheet approval; 4. Student progress viewed in real time; 5. A digital dashboard for managing status of multiple processes (placement, agency approvals, student progress in practicum). B. Integration within and across programs 1. Ability to interface with NMHU software applications such as Banner, Brightspace, and Handshake; 2. Option of housing seminar course content so that all practicum-related courses are in one application. C. Engagement with alumni 1. Lifetime access to the program, and students may access field information directly from their account without having to go through field staff after graduation; 2. Vehicle for School of Social Work to remain in communication with graduates; 3. Connection with alumni could be helpful in generating new placements sites.
