- Site Visit
- A site visit has been scheduled for 20 November 2024 at 8:00 am (MT) at Cannon AFB, NM. If you are interested in attending the site visit, please fill out the attached EAL Hood and Duct Cleaning Site Visit Form and send it to the points of contacts listed on this solicitation by 2:00 pm MT on the 15th of November 2024. All companies can have no more than two (2) attendees on their behalf. If we do not receive the EAL by the time specified above your company will not be able to attend the site visit. The meeting point for the beginning of the site visit is the Cannon AFB Visitor Center, 601 Chindit Blvd. Cannon AFB, NM, 88103. From there we will navigate to all the sites listed in the Performance Work Statement and return to the visitor center after completion.
This Request for Proposals is to award one (1) contract for a contractor to provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform Hood and Duct Cleaning Services at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico, in accordance with National Fire Protection 96, manufacturer's requirements, and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
The basic services the contractor shall provide will be to inspect, clean, and operationally test kitchen exhaust systems, hoods, ducts, and return air vents as identied in Attachment 1 - Performance Work Statement - Hood and Duct Cleaning. Contractor shall clean and degrease the hoods, grease removal devices (not to include the filters), exhaust fans, exhaust ducts, smokestacks, and other related components/appurtenances. Each item shall be free of all grease, debris, cleaning residue, trash, and standing water after system cleaning.
