The City is requesting proposals from responsible firms capable of demonstrating their ability to provide Merchant Services. B. The City currently accepts credit card payment for goods and services at various City sites. Capture methods include leased or owned point-of-sale (POS) terminals, WEB POS terminals utilizing various payment gateways, stand-alone ticketing kiosks capable of handling multiple merchant accounts, and electronic cash registers using customized communications software. The City intends to promote the use of credit cards (and debit cards) at most City sites and the City’s website.
