THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS.
The National Park Service, Guadalupe Mountains National Park intends to award a contract with Schlumberger Technology Corporation, 1430 Enclave PKWY FL2, Houston Texas, 77077 under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. Intent of the NPS is to establish a purchase order using firm fixed price to replace and install Water Well Pumps at Dog Canyon and Pine Springs areas. This is an urgent and compelling need under the Authority of FAR (FAR 6.302-2). It is essential to the operation and protection of the Park¿s infrastructure to immediately replace the current Reda pumps in order to maintain water supply to the Dog Canyon and the Pine Springs areas. Schlumberger supplied and installed the initial Reda pumps in 2009 and manufactures pumps under Reda/Schlumberger. Reda/Schlumberger pumps are compatible with current tools that monitor the pumps, motor parameter, supply volts, amps, down hole intake pressure, motor temperature, vibration, leakage and more. The sole source justification for this award will be provided upon request. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am MT, August 31, 2023 by sending an e-mail to carol_ortega@nps.gov. Any technical data/information received in response to this notice will be used solely for market research purposes for future requirements and does not constitute a valid quote/offer.
