Remove an existing irrigation diversion dam (rock rubble) and construct a new diversion dam a short distance upstream. The in-stream work shall include construction of a reinforced concrete and large rock diversion dam that includes adjustable pneumatic gates, a gated intake structure for the irrigation diversion system and box culvert to convey irrigation water, riverbank stabilization with large rocks and some concrete grout, construction of a pedestrian plaza next to the river, construction of a small building to house equipment and controls for the pneumatic gates in the river, and other related construction items. The selected contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the technical plans, regulatory requirements, and specified environmental considerations.
