Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall, under the direction of the REC IX in collaboration with SED, provide coaching, training, and technical assistance through technology, webinars, face to face training, Zoom meetings, and other means of training that are evidence based. Coaches will use evidence based learning theories in their delivery of information. This includes the option for virtual coaching and training with prior approval by SED and Region IX. Contract will develop a webinar or podcast for the purpose of informing families of Autism specific topics (ex: reinforcement, resources, or strategies) Contractor shall work collaboratively with REC IX in collaboration with SED (including project lead) at all times in order to discuss and evaluate what training/TA needs to be addressed during the FY XX/XX school year. Will work with SED to evaluate the type of training(s) as well as what is needed for on-going TA support and coaching needed for the State. All training materials developed through the Autism Project will have the PED logo on each page and will be vetted through PED/Autism Lead. All professional Development created must be approved by the SED Autism Lead prior to delivery. Contractor shall be assigned school districts, based on requests, by REC IX with SED Autism Project Lead approval.
