A. Intent: The City of Farmington Utility System (FEUS) is seeking bids for relocating its primary electric line from the back of the properties to the front on Skyline Drive. Project name is Skyline Drive UG Improvement Project West. The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary for relocation of electric lines. B. The customer owned electrical services are currently located in the back of the homes and will need to be relocated to the front, being fed from FEUS facilities that will have been relocated. A New Mexico Licensed Electrical Contractor will be required do this work. The Contractor will be responsible for the following: (1) Contractor will work as a consultant for FEUS to determine the best process to refeed existing homes from FEUS facilities that are currently located behind the properties and with this project will be relocated to the front of the properties. (2) Sizing the new customer owned electrical service according to existing loading. (Current Codes) (contractor will be responsible for procuring all the materials to install new electrical services) (3) Contractor will work with FEUS New Service Department to schedule and perform service changes. (4) Contractor will be responsible for acquiring any applicable permits etc. (5) Contractor will dig and install customer owned facilities from FEUS point of service to the new service location. Including trenching and conduit installation. (6) Contractor will be responsible for any construction, stucco / siding repair, painting, etc. that occurs on the customers home from relocation of the electrical service.
