Answer 1: "The contractor is only required to dump the gravel at the delivery location."
AMENDMENT 00001 TO:

The purpose of this amendment is to change the RFQ submission date From October 03, 2022 01:00 pm PT, To September 27, 2022.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
COMMERCIAL COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION
Tahoe NF - Cal-Ida Campground Gravel
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation, RFQ# 127EAS23Q0001.
This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 212321, Size Standard of 500 employees.
This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-07 and Agriculture Acquisition Regulation (AGAR) last updated 29 March 2021. The result of this requirement will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract.
Evaluation criteria for this requirement will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). For technical acceptability, the contractor must submit specifications for any substituted item quoted.

All questions pertaining to this acquisition shall be asked in writing no later than, 26 September 2022 at 1:00PM PT. Questions shall be submitted to Perry Rinato via email at perry.rinato@usda.gov. Email must be titled, “127EAS23Q0001– TAHOE NF - CAL-IDA CAMPGROUND GRAVEL RFQ QUESTION”.
It is the responsibility of the offeror to view the SAM.Gov website for any changes or amendments to this RFQ.
