provide comprehensive student accountability services to individuals and families within the community across all 4 school districts in San Juan County, NM. The aim is to provide programming for Truancy Program Officer(s) and staff who have the responsibility of tracking and managing the attendance of students through a Student Accountability Program and provide wrap-around services and referrals to improve attendance and outcomes as an alternative, non-legal intervention strategy. The Truancy Reduction Services Program will be responsible for identifying students and families in need of services because of excessive absenteeism. It will be the responsibility of the successful offeror to identify the need for individual or family counseling, intervention and referrals to other outside programs to include monitoring and tracking of outcomes. Continued follow-up with client(s) is crucial for success within the program. Additional travel funds may be available upon where direct services are being provided in San Juan County. A grant of $300,000 from the State of NM is funding the program until June 30, 2026. Multiple awards may be considered to cover services across all 4 school districts.
