The Scope of Work for the Children’s Psychiatric Center – Administration Mechanical Upgrades shall include the following key elements outlined herein. Project Scope will include replacement of the fan coil units at building 236A – Administration, tie-in to the new hydronic loop piping, associated mountings and penetrations for mechanical equipment and accessories. Supplemental work to include protecting of certain finishes to remain, removal and reinstallation of certain finishes, and removal and replacement of certain finishes. Small scopes of structurally significant roof penetrations are delegated to the General Contractor. Demolition scope to include removal of select existing duct funs and associated equipment, replacement of thermostats as indicated, removal of existing fan coil units and installation of new fan coil units and specific duct runs at building 236A – Administration. Temporary construction will be required to protect users of the site from construction activities and are to be coordinated with the owner’s life safety restrictions covered in University of New Mexico Hospitals Supplementary Conditions.
