RFP-2022-028 - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE OPERATION OF HEALTH INSURANCE INFORMATION, COUNSEL

The County of Albany is seeking proposals for professional services to provide a Health Insurance Information, Counseling and Assistance Program (HIICAP) and Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) services to Albany County residents age 60 and older, disabled, caregivers, and community groups and service providers on all aspects of health insurance for Medicare-eligible. The service will provide outreach, access, education, and assistance to groups and individuals. Counseling resources and locations should be locally accessible to targeted populations including the low-income, the dual eligible, the underserved zip codes, and the rural areas of the county.
