RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BIDS
The City of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York (herein called the “Owner”), invites bids on the form attached hereto, all blanks of which must be appropriately filled in. Bid information and forms may be obtained through the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 61 Church Street, Amsterdam, New York. Bid information and forms can be requested to be sent via email PDF by contacting the City Clerk at slenkowicz@amsterdamny.gov. Bids will be received by the Owner at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 61 Church Street, Amsterdam, New York, until 11:00 AM, local time April 12, 2023. All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Common Council Chambers at 11:00 AM local time, April 12,2023. The envelopes containing the bids must be sealed, addressed to the Common Council of the City of Amsterdam, 61 Church Street, Amsterdam, New York, and designated as Bid for:

Approximately 13,500 gallons total, separated into two periods (approximately 6,750 gallons/period).
Two Periods:
Period 1: April 12-July 31
Period 2: August 1- October 31
Potassium Permanganate (free flowing material)
275.58 lb Deliveries
Approximately 1,100 lbs
April 12 2023 – April 11 2024.
The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof and may waive any informalities or reject any and all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bids received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No Bidders may withdraw a bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
