The City of Amsterdam is requesting proposals from qualified consultants and engineering design firms to complete the Chuctanunda Creek Trail extension. The extension of the trail is located in the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) boundary. The finished product will establish a clear path through the downtown and provide enhanced signage, lighting, and safety measures. It will connect to the Amsterdam Free Library expansion and allow the downtown to serve as a trailhead for this four-mile trail.
