General Notice
City of Amsterdam (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Esperanza Verde Park
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City Clerk’s Office located at City Hall, 61 Church St Amsterdam NY 12010, until June 11th,2024 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Installation of underground utilities, site grading, forming and installation of concrete, and other hardscape improvements at the Esperanza Verde Park on the corner of Eagle St and E Main St in the City of Amsterdam. This project is required to meet the current NYSDOL Prevailing Wage Rates. As such, the Contractor must supply certified payrolls with each payment application.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. If shipping is requested, the Contractor to provide the City with FedEx or UPS account information. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen.
