NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Board of Education of the Brewster Central School District, Town of Southeast, Brewster, New York, popularly known as Brewster Central School District, in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids from reputable and qualified contractors for the provision of labor and materials for the following contract in the schools of the School District:
LABOR AND MATERIAL CONTRACT FOR: ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING SERVICES June 9, 2015 at 10:00AM
Bids for Environmental Testing Services will be received until the above stated hour of prevailing time and date at the School District Business Office, 30 Farm to Market Road, Brewster, New York, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened. The Board of Education has the option of awarding the Environmental Testing Services bid for one, two or three years starting on October 1, 2015 and potentially going through September 30, 2018. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the same office Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, or by contacting mcarroll@brewsterschools.org or 845-279-8000 extension 6112.
Bids must be presented on the proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the Specifications. All bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes which are clearly marked on the outside: Bid For: “Brewster Central School District – Environmental Testing Services Contract”. Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days following the date of the bid opening.
The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any or all bids, or to accept that bid which, in the Board of Education’s judgment, is in the best interest of the School District.
The Board of Education reserves the right to consider experience, service and reputation in the above-referenced fields. In addition, the Board of Education reserves the right to consider the financial responsibility and specific qualifications, as set out herein, of the prospective bidder in its evaluation of the bids and award of the contracts.
