Capital Region BOCES is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms for Lead Remediation Planning and Reporting Services. Having completed water sampling and testing in accordance with ‘3Ts for Reducing Lead in Drinking Water in Schools’ Technical Guidance Manual issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), BOCES has ascertained lead levels in drinking water at all of its sites. In locations where lead levels have been identified in excess of 15 ppb, BOCES seeks to determine the source of contamination and to develop a plan for remediation.
