Description

SCOPE: Chautauqua County is seeking proposals for the Inspection and Repairs to Stationary Compactors at Chautauqua County Landfill and transfer stations. The inspections are to include Stationary Compactors power unit assemblies, hydraulic tanks, filters, valves, motors, pumps, cylinders, hydraulic hoses, control panels, control console, and electrical connections.

The inspections should take place twice a year. If any contamination or failures are recognized during the inspection that need immediate attention and delaying the repair could cause imminent damage mechanically or environmentally the inspector needs to have the ability to make immediate repairs.

Bids will be accepted in the Conference Room located at Chautauqua County DPF, 454 North Work Street, Falconer, New York 14733, no later than 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Chautauqua County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any inconsistencies in, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.

EACH BID ENVELOPE MUST BE PLAINLY MARKED WITH THE PROPOSAL NUMBER AND THE ITEM BID THEREIN.

NOTE: Chautauqua County shall not be held responsible for the completeness or accuracy of any bid documents received by a vendor that were not directly issued to that vendor by the Chautauqua County Purchasing Department.
