RFP-2292-R - AIRPORT CONCESSIONAIRE

It is the COUNTY'S intent that an operator provides a CONCESSION that can be managed and
operated at the Airport in a manner that provides commercial rewards to the operator while upgrading
and expanding the quality, quantity and variety of services provided to the traveling public and airport
employees. Service level considerations should include the service times coinciding with peak passenger
travel times, proper staffing with qualified and courteous employees, and a high level of quality in food
and beverages. The COUNTY will require the successful CONCESSIONAIRE to enter into a contract
specifying payment to the COUNTY of certain fees and charges in exchange for commercial concession
rights and privileges at the Airport. It is expected that fees and charges will recognize a realistic earning
ability at the Airport and balance the need for the CONCESSIONAIRE to have commercial incentives
with a necessity of the COUNTY to provide adequate airport facilities to properly serve local needs and
desires.
