Description

1.The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver, (F.O.B. the Chemung County SewerDistrict No. 1 Wastewater Treatment Facility, 1700 Lake Street, Elmira, NY)the polymers required for extraction of water from sludge by belt filter press operation.
(a)Technical Services:The bid price shall include the cost for in-person professional
technical services and consultations at theWastewater Facility site upon request by the District for up to ten(10)days per year.
(b)ContractTerm:The Contract terms shall be from the date of the contract execution
through December 31st,2023.The Contract may be extended for up to one(1) additional year (through December 31st, 2024)under the same terms and conditions and at the same bid price.
2.The sludge is an anaerobically digested sludge which is to be dewatered and disposed ofat the Chemung County Landfill. The polymer conditioned sludge is to be dewatered to produce a sludge cake with not less than twenty percent (20%) solids with a capture of not less than ninety-five percent (95%) of total solids.
