RFB-0124 - High Pressure Air Compressor & Purification System for Human Respi

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Elmira wishes to purchase an NFPA, OSHA and ANSI compliant SCBA Compressor/Cascade/Fill Station system with three stations; DOT approved storage tanks 18 CFM high-pressure air compressor and control panel for the Elmira Fire Department to supply human respiration. The system must meet or exceed the requirements of CGA Pamphlet G-7, compressed Air for Human Respiration, the requirements of ANSI/CGA G-7.1, Commodity Specifications for Air, Grade E and Grade D, and all other recognized standards for safe, breathable air. The system shall be designed for a maximum working pressure of 6,000 PSIG. All equipment shall be new and of current design and production. Accessories not mentioned in this document but necessary to furnish a complete system for use upon delivery, shall be included and conform to current manufacturing standards for durability and quality of materials. Bidders’ proposed equipment must meet or exceed all minimum specifications contained in the bid document. Any exceptions to minimum specifications must be clearly identified and listed on the data sheet.
