RFP-1624 - Merchant Card Services for Chemung County

Summary of Specifications:
County is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified credit card processors authorized to do business in New York State to provide merchant credit card services for a system using electronic data capture at point of sale or transaction and electronic fund transfer capabilities for various departments throughout the County. The County seeks a system that will allow acceptance of credit card payment at no cost to the County. The County also requires that it has access to a system that will generate daily and monthly reporting by department and an interface to its general ledger. It is also the desire of the County to provide the lowest possible cost to the customer. The successful dibber will retain ownership of the credit card equipments and provide necessary connectors for system operation.
