To provide the best adhesion to cold oil, the cleanest possible aggregates are required. Chip seal stone and native stone shall meet the specifications listed in this RFB. Aggregate meeting the specifications listed in this RFB shall be accepted unless service records indicate that it is unsound or that the material is otherwise determined to be unsatisfactory by the owner.
