Description

The purpose of these specifications is to define the bidder requirements for the operation of the complete Nutrition Services Department of the Chemung County Nursing Facility. The functions performed in the operation of the Nutrition Services Department consist of the following:
1.Feeding of 150 residents of the Chemung County Nursing Facility, including special diets butexcluding enteral feeding. Maximum residents 200.2. Feeding approximately 135 jail inmates housed by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Department.3. Operation of the Cafeteria for staff, visitors and nursing home residents.4. Preparation of food for special functions.5. All related services as required by the New York State Department of Health Residential CareFacilities' Code.The bidder agrees to operate said services in the highest professional manner as so understood by the food service industry and in complete compliance with Title 10 NYCRR, OBRA regulations and other applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
