Piggyback Contract

Description

This project is a Wick's Law project and contains bidding opportunities for General, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Contractors.

The General (G) Contract includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and
other means of construction for an approximately 3,600 square foot new pre-engineered metal
building (PEMB) including site work, foundations, and interior finishes. (PEMB scope is not in this
contract).

The Mechanical (H) Contract includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and
other means of construction for building heat and ventilation including unit heaters, fans, and louvers.

The Plumbing (P) Contract includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and
other means of construction for building domestic water and sanitary sewer.

The Electrical (E) Contract includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and
other means of construction for building power, lighting, and controls including a new 400 amp service
and generator.

Bids shall be submitted in triplicate; a single original and two copies are permitted. A Bid shall be submitted no later than the date and time prescribed to Room 202, Albany City Hall, 24 Eagle Street, Albany, NY and shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope plainly marked with the Project title (and, if applicable, the designated portion of the Project for which
the Bid is submitted), the name and address of Bidder, and shall be accompanied by the Bid security and other required documents. If a Bid is sent by mail or other delivery
system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly marked on the outside with the notation “BID ENCLOSED.”
