Description

1. The City of Albany (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) hereby requests proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide audiovisual equipment for the City’s Common Council chamber and related professional installation and training services on said equipment.

1. The City is in the process of purchasing audiovisual equipment to live-stream Common Council meetings as well as certain press conferences held within City Hall. A list of the equipment that the City plans to purchase is found in Section 4 of this RFP.

1. Proposers are invited to attend a site visit, following all COVID-19 protocols, in City Hall, 24 Eagle Street, Albany, New York 12207, on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 10 am to 12:30 pm. Proposers who wish to attend the site visit shall register no later than Tuesday, January 19, 2021 by 5 pm and by sending an email to commoncouncil@albanyny.gov. Said registration email shall include the following information: (a) name of Proposer or firm; (b) name of attendee(s) from said firm; (c) attendee(s)’s phone number; and (d) level of experience in installing and training on audiovisual equipment in historic buildings. The City reserves the right to reject any Proposer or attendee who fails to register by January 19, 2021. The City also reserves the right to convert aforementioned in-person site visit to a virtual site visit if necessary.
