The Woodlawn Park Stormwater Harvesting Project will provide a stormwater harvesting and irrigation system in Woodlawn Park. The system will utilize the underground cistern beneath Woodlawn Park baseball field that was previously constructed as part of the Hansen Alley and Ryckman Alley Overflow Abatement and Flood Mitigation Project. A pump station, a filtration unit, a fill station, an irrigation system, and associated electrical conduit and equipment will be constructed as part of this project. This project will allow for the re-use of captured stormwater from Hansen Alley and Woodlawn Avenue drainage areas to irrigate Woodlawn Park baseball field and fill City irrigation trucks, street sweepers, and other similar vehicles.
Irrigation system and installation, electrical conduit and equipment and installation, and site work to be completed by others.
